The Wikimedia Foundation filed -- two years running -- Form 990 documents with the Internal Revenue Service that obfuscated the business relationships that existed between board members. THREE OUT OF FIVE of the WMF Board at the time were WIKIA EMPLOYEES! I suspect that Jimbo wouldn't let the "Yes" boxes be checked because he didn't want to have to report his earnings, which would have otherwise been required. So, instead, they lied to the government. Nobody seems to be up in arms about this, though. It's "water under the bridge", no? Figures.
